inspiration

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength,they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31-

It's been on my mind lately. What an amazing promise from the Lord! Something to hold on to. God always keeps his promises. My amazing friend Jennifer has inspired me to committ to memorizing scriptures. I have a hard time with discipline sometimes, but this is a challenge i'm committed to fulfill. I want to hide God's word in my heart. It's a priceless treasure. I am so thankful for my dear friend who helps me to keep my mind on things above- she's a beautiful woman of God.

just a day in my life...

yesterday on my way home from work the clouds were so pretty! So I decided to take pictures of my country drive home. I have really come to enjoy my drives home. They are a great time to roll down the windows, sing, pray, call a friend, whatever... having a longer drive home is definately a benefit of living in the country. When I got home Jason was busy preparing for our guests: his cousin Heather, her husband Jon and their adorable daughter Madison. Jason had caught our dinner for the night. We had a fish fry (yummmmm!!) My man definately does it right. The fish were fresh from the river that day. Love it! Jason doesn't slack, he never takes the easy or the quicker way.. he does it right in everything he does. I love that about him and am inspired by it.
